The Clothing Show Wrap Up

Set up. Lots to do.

Getting there.

Open for business.
(Can you spot Diana hiding in the background?)

Last minute inspiration!
I was inspired by Sweet Paul's beautiful styling and ran out to buy a chalk board the day before the show.

Handprinted, handmade canvas tote bags. (Coming soon to our shop). Though I designed them all, my personal favorite is the Grey Dots tote (pictured left). Diana prefers the red birds.

Handprinted, handmade tea towels in cotton and linen.

Café aprons and reversible kids aprons. Again, coming soon to the shop.

A broader selection of adult apron, coming soon.

And finally, thanks so much to everyone who stopped by our booth with kind words about our collection. We were really happy to meet you all.

The Clothing Show 2010

Day One: Shop set up. We changed the layout again one hour before doors open.

New product alert! We introduced our collection of handmade, handprinted tea towels at the show.

It's our last day at the Clothing Show and while we're sad to leave, we're just looking forward to going home and relaxing for the remainder of the weekend. Thanks to everyone who's stopped by.

Things We Love

We're furiously prepping for the Clothing Show which starts this Friday. Hope we'll see some of you there!

While working, it's essential that we have entertainment. We've been listening to a lot of audiobooks and have been streaming TV shows online, so you can only imagine our excitement when we found out that Netflix is now available in Canada! Right now they're giving out a one month free trial, afterwards it's only $7.99 a month! Crazy. Be sure to check it out.

Back to work,

Inspiring Rooms

I pulled these pictures from a blog some weeks ago and it's too bad that I can't remember which one it was. The colours and patters are something I could refer to later when designing tea towel or tote bags. Definitely a good starting point for designing my accessories.

I also love the classic elements mixed with contemporary. I want my studio to look like the second room - simple, elegant, modern, neutral palette with a light touch of colour.
